#Microblog Mondays: Our Little Beauty

Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

It’s a perfect day for a micro blog because I have so much to say, but between jaundice issues, breast feeding issues and just generally taking care of an infant, I’ll keep it short and sweet and leave you with our little darling who joined our family (on the outside) Aug. 26 at 6:15pm, weighing in at 7lbs 9oz. We are smitten. And tired. And learning on the fly. But so in love.

  1. Congratulations! Hang in there…it will get better eventually…the beginning is overly exhausting and make sure that you nap when your baby naps ’cause I wish I had taken that advice when it was given to me.

  2. Congratulations Mommy! Don’t worry, the first month is the worst, I promise it gets better. Be sure to seek support from a qualified lactation consultant, it can make a world of difference.

  3. Congratulations. Can’t wait to hear more details when you have time. As for the breastfeeding issues, I highly suggest a private lactation consultant that does home visits. I used one with Gus and one with Lucy and they were well worth it.

Pssst, I'd love to hear from you, leave a comment!
